What You Train With This TEAS Math Practice Test

TEAS Math questions are usually not hard if you take your time to read each question.. Most mistakes come from reading the stem too fast, not rechecking answers to see that all units match, and choosing an answer that seems correct but the stem does not support.

This practice set helps you learn how to slow down: translate the question, set up the steps cleanly, then double-check the result before you choose.

Common Questions About the TEAS Math Test

Quick answers for the math-based topics that most often affect TEAS scores.

Expect a heavy mix of fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, basic algebra, measurement, and word problems.

Write the setup. Most TEAS math questions will be correct if you focus on the setup, not the arithmetic.

Practice translating words to math. Percent of, percent increase, and percent decrease patterns are frequently asked, and they will improve quickly with short daily drills.

Do a quick reasonableness check. If the question asks for a smaller value and your answer is larger, something is wrong in the setup or calculation.

Underline what is being asked, circle the numbers, then restate the problem in one short math sentence before you calculate.

First, use a consistent method such as step 1, step 2, etc. After that, time yourself in small chunks, such as 5 questions at a time. Aim for a steady pace instead of rushing.

It gives feedback as you go, so you can learn the pattern immediately instead of repeating the same mistake later.

Plan to finish in one sitting. Many quiz pages reset if you refresh or leave, so completing it in one go is the safest bet.
